The Converge A/V 4 Port VGA over Cat5 Video and Audio Line Splitter / Repeater extends audio/video signals to four additional receivers connected to a 4 or 8 port extender. The video signal is sent to remote monitors over standard 4-pair Category 5 UTP cable (using RJ45 connectors) and supports distances of up to 300m / 950ft. At each remote monitor, a receiver is required to convert the signal from the CAT5 cable back into video and audio for the display.
