The EDS-P308 is an 8-port smart Ethernet switch that provides an economical solution for setting up Ethernet connections. The switch supports PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) on ports 1 to 4, and is classified as power source equipment (PSE). The EDS-P308 helps you centralize your power supply by providing up to 15.4 watts of power per port. This means that you can power IEEE802.3af compliant powered devices (PD), and eliminate the need for additional wiring.

In addition, MOXA provides two additional products to expand the PoE feature. The SPL-24 is an IEEE802.3af-compliant PoE splitter that distributes power to non-PoE devices, and the DR-75/120-48 is a 48 VDC power supply that meets the power demands of a PSE. The SPL-24 and DR-75/120-48 provide greater versatility for installing devices.
