       The HighPoint RocketRAID 3220 PCI-X SATA II RAID Controller offers 
        the features needed for enterprise level storage environments. The 
        RocketRAID 3220 delivers optimized performance and features through 
        the use of HighPoint's industry-leading RAID technology.
       The RocketRAID 3220 is the latest product in storage technology, 
        leveraging the storage performance in SATA II and supporting the 
        fastest available throughput while supporting enterprise level 
        features such as Native Command Queuing (NCQ), staggered drive 
        spin-up and SAF-TE enclosure management support.
       

* Internal Mini-SAS Connectors
   The Mini-SAS Interconnect System offers both connectors and cable 
   assemblies that enable flexible speed compatibility for applications 
   ranging from 1.5 to 6.0 Gpbs, with capability up to 10.0 Gbps, and is an 
   ideal interconnect solution for the growing server storage market.
* Intel 80331 I/O Processor and SDRAM
   The RocketRAID 3220 RAID Controller has an intergrated hardware I/O 
   processor for RAID 5 parity calculations. With the new I/O processor the 
   system CPU is free to perform other important tasks. There is also 128MB 
   of DDR SDRAM with ECC protection on the RocketRAID 3220 RAID Controller 
   for improved performance and is utilized with the optional battery back 
   up unit for system disasters.
* Comprehensive OS Support
   HighPoint offers the broadest range of support for all major operating 
   systems to ensure OS and hardware server compatibility. Drivers are 
   available for all major operating systems, including Windows, Linux and 
   FreeBSD. Embedded Linux drivers into main Linux kernel help customers
   easily install and configure the RocketRAID 3220.
