       The CHS 7E is an Entry-Level scanning solution which sends Bar Code 
        Data Wirelessly via a Class 1 Bluetooth radio to your Bluetooth 
        Enabled Pocket PC 2003 (Windows Mobile), Notebook, Pen Tablet, RIM, 
        Palm PDA or Symbian Smart Phones or BlackBerry Devices. The CHS 7E 
        features a Linear CMOS Imaging technology with low power 
        consumption.
       The Cordless Hand Scanner (CHS) 7E will enable you to collect bar 
        coded data without being tied to your mobile or desktop computer! 
        This innovative device combines a Linear CMOS technology bar code 
        scanning and the convenience of Bluetooth wireless technology in a 
        single compact, lightweight device that is ergonomically designed 
        to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand.
       Bluetooth wireless technology transforms how devices connect with 
        each other, offering you new possibilities for using your mobile 
        computer with other devices without the hassle of cables or the 
        awkwardness of a protruding antenna. Sockets CHS 7E features a 
        powerful Class 1 Bluetooth radio, so you can stay connected to your 
        laptop or desktop at the maximum possible range -- even when 
        connected to the weaker Class 2 Bluetooth radios found in many 
        mobile devices.
       Bar code scanning is the most efficient way to enter data into a 
        computer. If the data to be entered is bar coded, using a laser 
        scanner is 50 times faster and 10,000 times more accurate than 
        manual data entry. The CHS 7E complies with the UCC 2005 Sunrise 
        Date mandate.
       The CHS 7E with Bluetooth wireless technology uses minimal power, so 
        you can operate for hours without having to recharge batteries. The 
        CHS 7E includes SocketScan software which directs scanned data into 
        any Windows, Palm or Symbian application as if it were manually 
        typed. Plus, Sockets renowned Bluetooth technology makes it easy to 
        establish and maintain a reliable connection between the CHS and 
        host computer.

   - SocketScan allows the user to add Prefix and/or Suffix functions, such 
     as Carriage Return and Tab, to further eliminate manual keystrokes.
   - Supported bar code symbologies can be easily enabled or disabled with 
     SocketScans "Symbology Selector".
   - SocketScan "Scan Demo" reports symbology, length and decoded data of 
     any scanned bar code.
   - This product is 2005 Sunrise Date compliant.
* Bluetooth Features
   - Class 1 radio with Bluetooth wireless technology has a maximum range 
     of 300 ft (100 m) if connected to another Class 1 Bluetooth device.

     devices, CHS range should be approximately 50% greater when used in an 
     indoor environment and 100% greater when used outdoors. Bluetooth
