 Overview   SPEC 
The pick roller unit picks documents and separates documents in the ADF. This unit must be changed after a certain time or certain number of scanning. The recommended unit replacement frequency is shown below. Replace the unit more frequently when scanning large numbers of carbonless, poorly toner-fused, or pencil-written papers. Replace the unit immediately if miss picks or jams begin to occur frequently.

Note: Recommended frequency of replacement is derived from A4 portrait scanning with good condition of paper. If following paper is scanned, this frequency becomes shorter.

NCR paper, carbon paper
The paper with pencil carbon or non-fused toner
Coating paper, photographic paper.

Recommended frequency: One year or 300,000 sheets, whichever comes first
