This xSeries 445 Two Chassis 16-way Configuration Kit contains the requisite cables necessary to configure two xSeries 445 8-CPU servers into a single 16-processor configuration to support Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition, or VMware ESX Server 2.0. Prior to installation of the cables and operating system, each of the xSeries 445 servers must have eight processors of the same type and clock and a minimum of 1 GB of memory in each SMP Expansion Module.

Two Chassis 16-way Configuration Kit includes four 2.5m and two 250mm scalability cables, and an Ethernet crossover cable for use if both chassis' are not connected to an enterprise network.
